Waterford man expected to plead guilty in child pornography charges

Police say man used chatrooms to lure underage girls between ages of 10-14

WATERFORD, Mich. – A Waterford man is expected to plead guilty Tuesday to creating 100 to 200 child pornography videos. 

Police said officers executed a search warrant at Virgil Napier Jr.'s house on Nov. 16, 2015 and found several child pornographic images on his computer along with links to videos.

Napier admitted to using online chat rooms to convince girls ranging from 10 to 14 years old to pose in sexually explicit positions, according to investigators. 

He also admits to recording the girls doing the positions and broadcasting the videos to others. 

Napier faces one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
