Woman steals $90 worth of wigs from Bloomfield Township store

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A woman in Bloomfield Township took the meaning of "bad hair day" to a whole new level.

Police are searching for the woman after they say she stole more than $90 worth of wigs from the New Mode Wig and Beauty store on Opdyke Road in Bloomfield Township.

Surveillance video shows the woman stealing two wigs from the display mannequins and putting them in her purse before walking out of the store without paying.

Police said the woman is 35-40 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds.
