Deputies investigate 'hit list' created by students at Powell Middle School

List includes names of celebrities, poets, politicians, other students

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Macomb County Sheriff's deputies are investigating what police are calling a 'hit list' that was found at Powell Middle School in Washington Township

The documents include a list of people "to be harmed."

Officials said the online documents were created by students at the school and includes the names of celebrities, poets, politicians and other students.

Deputies met with the principal after 10 a.m. Friday.
