Thief breaks into Nemo's Bar in Detroit

DETROIT – Detroit police are looking for the individual that broke into Nemo's Bar on Michigan Avenue early Friday morning.

The thief busted out a front window to break in shortly after 2 a.m. Police said liquor and money were stolen from the bar. The thief damaged a security monitor and a cash register drawer was found on the bar counter. Police also found another cash register drawer near the rear of the bar. 

Police are looking at surveillance video in hopes of getting a description of the perpetrator.

Investigators also are working to figure out if this break-in is connected to a break-in and fire at nearby Katoi restaurant.
