Sargento expands recall list, cuts ties with supplier
Recall filed due to possible listeria contamination

WISCONSIN – Wisconsin-based Sargento Foods Inc. is expanding a voluntary recall of some of its cheeses due to a possible listeria contamination.
The company has also cut ties with its former supplier.

The initial recall was filed on February 10th, but has since been updated to include 7 additional types of cheese. No illnesses have been reported due to the possible bacterial contamination, but the company still urges customers to return affected items.
