Man arrested in Livonia with stolen credit cards, police say

LIVONIA, Mich. – During an arrest of a driver who had a suspended license on April 7, police found a large amount of fraudulent credit cards in the vehicle.

According to police, the credit cards were found while inventorying the contents of the vehicle driven by 21-year-old James Allan Slater of Detroit.

Slater was charged on April 10 with 20 counts of possession of a fraudulent traction device.

He is due back in 16th District Court for his preliminary examination on April 27.
