Anheuser-Busch to honor military members with camouflage aluminum Budweiser bottles

In addition to the Budweiser America cans and bottles, Anheuser-Busch will sell camouflage aluminum bottles this summer while partnering with Folds of Honor to help raise funds and provide scholarships to families of fallen and disabled soldiers.

For six years, the beer company has partnered with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides scholarships for tutoring and tuition for students in grades K-12, as well as higher education for military spouses and dependents.

A portion of every Budweiser America bottle and can sold up until Memorial Day, up to $1 million, will be donated.

Since 2011, $11 million has been donated.

“Budweiser continues to be an amazing partner and member of the Folds of Honor family,” said Maj. Dan Rooney, founder and CEO of Folds of Honor

The limited edition camouflage bottles will feature a letter of gratitude in place of the brand credo, lyrics from “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and “E Pluribus Unum,” which means “out of many, one.”

“Our goal is to remind Budweiser drinkers of the courage and sacrifice made by all American servicemen and women who protect our nation and our freedoms,” said Ricardo Marques, vice president of Budweiser. “We hope to help even more veterans receive the support they deserve to pursue their dreams.”
