Police: Woman fatally shoots co-worker at Burlington Coat Factory in Taylor

TAYLOR, Mich. – A woman was shot and killed Monday morning inside the Burlington Coat Factory store on Eureka Road in Taylor. 

According to police, the woman was shot about 7:05 a.m. She was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. 

Police arrested the victim's co-worker in connection to the shooting and recovered the gun. Police said the woman was waiting for them when they arrived on the scene.

“There were multiple employees at the store when this happened,” Cmdr. Richard Hopper said. “We are trying to interview all of them to get the details of what happened.”
