Westland police are searching for a man caught on video stealing a bicycle. (WDIV)
WESTLAND, Mich. – Westland police are searching for a man who was caught on video sneaking onto a homeowner's property and stealing a bicycle in the middle of the night.
Video shows the man creeping past a boat sitting in the homeowner's driveway around 4 a.m. on Oct. 15. The man crouches down, picks up the bicycle and wheels it out of view.
Police said the incident happened in the 33000 block of Avondale Street.
Anyone who can identify the man in the video is asked to call the Westland Police Department at 734-467-3159.
