Firefighter injured at vacant hotel fire in Southfield

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – A firefighter was injured Saturday battling a fire at the vacant Plaza Hotel near Northwestern Highway. 

The cause of the fire and the firefighter's injuries are currently unknown.

The investigation is ongoing.
