Police: Man critically injured in hit-and-run in Detroit

DETROIT – A man was rushed to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street on Detroit’s west side, according to police.

Police said the driver did not stop at the scene. It happened in the area of Greenfield Road and Grand River Avenue.

The vehicle is described as a white SUV that was heading northbound from Grand River Avenue onto Greenfield Road.
