Fire destroys historic Grosse Pointe Shores home Fire crews in Grosse Pointe Shores battled two fires within minutes of each other Saturday morning.
A house on Greenbriar Street was destroyed.
The house is believed to be designed by University of Michigan graduate Rupert W. Koch
Metro Detroit weather: Re-freezing Saturday night Temps are already below, Saturday evening, and fall further, Saturday night. After a re-freeze, more melting takes place, Sunday. Above freezing but cloudier, Monday and Tuesday.
