Police: 24-year-old man found dead from gunshot wounds on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT – A 24-year-old man was found dead from gunshot wounds inside a home on Detroit’s east side, police said.

The discovery was made at 11:18 a.m. Monday at a home in the 9700 block of Traverse Street near Gratiot Avenue and Connor Street on Detroit’s east side, according to authorities.

Officials announced the man dead at the scene, police said.

Authorities don’t have any information on suspects.
