WASHINGTON – Police in Washington D.C. are on the scene of a shooting where multiple people have been shot, including a police officer.
The DC Police Department tweeted that it was responding to the area of 14th and U Street. ATF is also on the scene, along with emergency crews.

Police said four people were shot, including a 15-year-old boy who died, and an officer who was shot in the leg. Two other people were transported to a hospital.
Videos on social media show people running down nearby streets after hearing gunshots.
