‘TODAY’ Show’s Savannah Guthrie Pleads for Mother’s Return in New Video

NBC “TODAY” show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie and her siblings issued a video plea on Instagram for the return of their 84-year-old mother, who has been missing for nearly a week.

“We received your message and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we can have peace,” Guthrie said in the social media post. She indicated they would pay.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing Feb. 1 after failing to appear at church. She was last seen around 9:45 p.m. the previous night when family members dropped her off at her home near Tucson.

Nancy Guthrie lives alone with household staff, requires daily medication and has limited mobility. According to authorities, while she has physical limitations, she has no cognitive impairments and remains “sharp as a tack.”

Law enforcement officials continue to investigate the disappearance. Anyone with information about Nancy Guthrie’s whereabouts is urged to contact local authorities.
