Employee finds organ at wastewater treatment plant on Detroit's southwest side Unknown if organ is human No description found
DETROIT – An employee at a wastewater treatment plant in Detroit found an organ Friday night, police said.
Police said the employee found the organ at the plant on West Jefferson Avenue at about 7:30 p.m.
UPDATE : 4th organ found at wastewater treatment plant in Detroit determined to be deer heart
It's unknown if the organ, which may be a liver or kidney, is from a human. The organ has been turned over to the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office.
