OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A judge ruled to suppress key evidence in the Danielle Stislicki murder trial.
Danielle Stislicki walked out of her office in Southfield on Dec. 2, 2016, and was never seen again. Her body has never been found. Floyd Galloway, a security guard who worked in her office, has been charged with her murder.
The defense argues that the evidence is “fruit of the poisonous tree.” On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, judge Michael Warren issued an opinion siding with the defense and ruling to suppress certain evidence in the case.

Here’s the evidence that won’t be shown during trial
TCF Bank records
Any evidence that investigators obtained as result of a search warrant issued on Dec. 15, 2016, to TCF Bank for records associated with Floyd Galloway has been suppressed.
According to court documents, the warrant specifically authorized the police to “search for, seize, secure, tabulate and make return according to the law” for only seven categories of property. Those seven categories were listed as, “trace evidence, including, but not limited to: hair, blood, bodily fluids; and prints,” as well as property belonging to Stislicki, Stislicki, computers, and electronic devices, and three categories of clothing.
The judge said the wallet was not within the scope of the warrant and must be suppressed. Galloway’s TCF Bank card was inside the wallet -- and investigators checked that account to find Galloway bought a comforter from Bed Bath and Beyond.
Prosecutors said the comforter was used to replace a comforter Galloway used to dispose of Stislicki’s body.
