Kids count down to New Year’s Day early in Detroit

DETROIT – There’s a growing tradition in Downtown Detroit for people who may not want to stay up until midnight to ring in the new year.

While the tradition is mainly aimed at children, there’s fun for people of all ages at Beacon Park on Tuesday night.
