First responders rescue swimmer from Detroit River

DETROIT – A swimmer was pulled to safety on Wednesday after getting swept into the Detroit River.

The Detroit Police Department and U.S. Coast Guard responded to the scene.

Police spotted the man swimming near Belle Isle.
