Doctor charged with assaulting women in Macomb County arrested after fleeing to Canada

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A doctor who was charged last year in connection with the assault of multiple women in Macomb County has been arrested after fleeing to Canada, officials said.

Macomb County deputies opened an investigation into Dr. Mfed Mosely in January 2021 after multiple women came forward with assault allegations against him, according to authorities.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against him on Feb. 25, 2021, but he had already fled the country, officials said.

Mosely was located last week in Canada and apprehended. Extradition proceedings are pending in the Canadian courts, authorities said.
