DETROIT – Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel’s St. Patrick’s Day tweet is getting mixed reviews.
Her original, since deleted post included a photo of her at Detroit’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, taking a shot of whiskey and said, “I don’t know these people. But when you get offered a shot of whisky during the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Detroit, you take it!”
Someone later posted a screenshot of the original post with a caption that said “r-e-s-p-e-c-t.”
If you aren’t willing to have at least 1 shot of Jameson at the Detroit St. Patrick’s Day Parade, you are:
1) Under age 2) Driving 3) A recovering alcoholic 4) Muslim or Mormon 4) Doing it totally wrong
She responded on Monday with a new Twitter post saying, “If you aren’t willing to have at least 1 shot of Jameson at the Detroit St. Patrick’s Day Parade, you are: under age, driving, a recovering alcoholic, Muslim or Mormon or Doing it totally wrong. Come at me, people.”
