Elementary school in Eastpointe closes for day after threat

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – An elementary school in Eastpointe was shut down for Monday after receiving a threat.

The threat was called into Forest Park Elementary School on Forest Avenue, according to authorities.

The school is closed for Monday.

Police said they have identified a person of interest, and they are searching for that person.

Nobody was injured.
