Volunteers needed for this weekend’s Detroit Free Press Marathon

At least 3,000 total volunteers needed for event

DETROIT – More volunteers are needed for the Detroit Free Press Marathon this weekend in the downtown area.

The marathon requires around 3,000 volunteers, and right now, at least 600 more are needed.

Over the weekend, from Friday through Sunday, the overall event with include the marathon, a 5K, a kids’ race, and much more.
