DETROIT – Police seek help identifying man who was involved in an armed robbery on Detroit’s west side.

The incident occurred on Thursday (Dec. 14) at 2:10 p.m. in the 17000 block of West McNichols Road after the man purchased an item inside of a gas station.

Officials say the man approached the victim, produced a handgun, and robbed them of their white-framed Cartier glasses.

Police say the man fled in a black Chevrolet sedan heading northbound on Southfield Service Drive.

The suspect is described as a slim-built man in his 20s. He is approximately 5′11″ and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants with a white stripe, and white shoes.

A $500 reward was issued for information leading to an arrest.
