The Michigan Supreme Court has issued an independent audit of the Judicial Tenure Commission on behalf of Black judges.

The Michigan Supreme Court has issued an independent audit of the Judicial Tenure Commission on behalf of Black judges.

The audit was issued on Thursday (Dec. 21) on behalf of a coalition comprised of the coalition of the Black Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Association of Black Judges of Michigan, the NAACP, the ACLU, attorneys, advocates, and community activists who have been working to ensure that there was fairness and equity in the treatment of African American Judges by the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission.
