Detroit family wants answers after mother’s body found by her daughter

Death ruled a homicide by police

DETROIT – A family wants justice after a Detroit mother was found murdered in her home.

Quana Foster’s 11-year-old daughter discovered her lifeless body Tuesday, Dec. 26, inside her house on Telegraph Road between 7 Mile and 8 Mile roads.

The family said they went looking for Foster, 43, after not hearing from her for a week, including on Christmas Day.

Detroit police are investigating it as a homicide but have not released a cause of death.

Police have not identified any suspects in the case.

“I just want justice, I need everyone to speak up, speak out,” Foster’s daughter Kayla Lasi said.
