Victim survives multiple gunshot wounds after 2 open fire on Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Detroit’s west side Tuesday, March 26.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Snowden Street, between Pembroke and Chippewa avenues. According to authorities, the victim was sitting in a vehicle when two suspects wearing ski masks opened fire on him, striking him multiple times.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries and is expected to survive.
