Rush to see eclipse causes major traffic jams from Michigan into Ohio

The traffic from Michigan into Ohio is backed up Monday as people try to get into position to see the solar eclipse.

Sky4 saw massive backups along I-75 in Monroe County, with a rush of spectators trying to get into Ohio in time for the 3 p.m. eclipse start.

Our live traffic map shows slow traffic on US-23 into Ohio, as well as on M-125.

Most of Michigan will be in the 99% range for the eclipse, while parts of Ohio, including Toledo, are in the path of 100% totality.
