Police search for man involved in deadly shooting on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is searching for a man who is involved in a deadly shooting on the city’s east side.

The shooting happened on Oct. 7 at 2:50 p.m. when officials say Dalerico Martin, 38, fatally shot a 32-year-old man in the area of Hoover and Greiner streets.

Officials say Martin drove alongside the victim’s vehicle and fired shots, fatally striking him.

The 38-year-old is described as a man with long braided locs.

Martin was last seen wearing a green and white “Philly” letterman jacket, dark pants, and shoes.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
