Security guard killed in Taylor, suspect in custody

TAYLOR, Mich. – A private security guard in Taylor was found shot to death Wednesday night.

According to authorities, police were dispatched just after 11:30 p.m., Oct. 9, to a business on Trolley Industrial Drive, just east of Monroe Boulevard, on reports of a woman being shot to death. Police said they found the body of the woman, who was working as a private security officer at the time of the shooting.

A suspect has been taken into custody.

The investigation remains under investigation.
