Detroit man sentenced in connection to string of bank robberies

A Detroit man was sentenced to prison for robbing multiple banks in 2022.

Vibe Credit Union in Berkley was robbed on Oct. 3, 2022, just before 4:30 p.m. by a man whose description aligned with a series of bank robberies in a nearby area over weeks.

After further investigation, detectives identified Eddie Andrew Flint, 31, as the primary suspect.

On Oct. 14, 2022, Flint was charged in connection with four separate robberies. Flint entered a no-contest plea on Sept. 4, 2024. On Oct. 22, 2024, he was sentenced to four to 40 years in prison.
