Detroit People Mover announces 36-hour service marathon for Thanksgiving Track was shut down for three month makeover
DETROIT – The Detroit People Mover is set to reopen after a three-month track makeover.
The announcement was made on Monday (Nov. 18) on X, saying that the Detroit People Mover will be back rolling non-stop for 36 straight hours.
The 36-hour non-stop service will run from 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024.
