Police investigate Detroit shooting that killed 1

DETROIT – Police are investigating a shooting that killed a man on Detroit’s west side.

According to authorities, it happened Wednesday, Nov. 20, at a home near the intersection of Pembroke and Oakfield avenues.

Police said they responded to the scene and found the body of a man in his 40s inside the home. They also recovered a weapon.

A person of interest has been taken into custody.
