DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is seeking information from the community regarding a fatal hit-and-run involving a 69-year-old man.

The incident occurred on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, at 2:27 a.m., in the area of W. Warren and Grandville avenues, when an unknown suspect hit the 69-year-old male victim who was driving a beige Honda Accord and then fled the scene.

Medics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.

Suspect’s vehicle is a white 2015-2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV (extended length) with no plate.

It has extensive front-end damage, including a missing bumper, missing headlights, and a broken grill.

The vehicle has a small moon roof, seven-spoke chrome rims, and a trailer hitch.
