MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – A Monroe man was arrested for allegedly breaking into multiple cars in a neighborhood.
Just after 12 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024, in the area of Hull Road and Dunbar Road, a resident called the Monroe County Central Dispatch saying someone was in their car.

When the caller confronted the 37-year-old Monroe man, he ran away into the Oakridge Estates mobile home community.
After deputies and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office canine unit searched the area, they found that several cars in the area were broken into. Deputies eventually found the man walking in Oakridge Estates. He was then arrested.
He was taken to the Monroe County Jail pending arraignment.
