When will it be spring in Michigan in 2025?

Spring is right around the corner!
Here’s what to know about the upcoming season:
When does spring officially start? Spring officially begins at 5:01 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, as the spring equinox is set to happen, according to the Old Farmer’s Almanac.
What is the spring equinox? The Old Farmer’s Almanac said the spring equinox happens when the Sun crosses the celestial equator going south to north.
On the spring equinox, the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere receive roughly the same amount of sunlight.
When is daylight saving time? Time will “spring” forward one hour on Sunday, March 9.
Celebrating spring in Michigan Many cultures celebrate spring festivals such as Easter.
