Livingston County bridge over I-96 to close for 5 months

HOWELL, Mich. – A bridge over I-96 near Howell will close for five months.

According to authorities, the Chilson Road bridge over I-96 will close Monday, March 3. It is expected to reopen to normal traffic in August.

Drivers will be detoured to Latson Road and Grand River Avenue.
