Police seize over 100 pounds of crystal meth while executing search warrant in Metro Detroit

DETROIT – Over 100 pounds of crystal methamphetamine were seized following a search warrant in Metro Detroit on Wednesday.

On March 26, authorities from the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed a search warrant in Detroit and several other communities and seized 107 pounds of crystal meth. In total, authorities said the street value is about $480,000.

Michigan State Police did not provide details on arrests made in connection to the drug bust.

The narcotics investigation is ongoing.
