Man found dead near burning car on Detroit’s east side RV, other objects also found to be on fire

DETROIT – A man was found dead near a burning car on Detroit’s east side early Wednesday morning.
Detroit firefighters responded to the reported car fire at a vacant lot in the 11100 block of Lappin on April 16 just before 4:30 a.m.
There, firefighters found an RV, a car and other objects on fire.
According to officials, a man was found inside a vehicle near the burning car.
Detroit police said there’s no threat to the public.
