Child seriously hurt after being mauled by neighbor’s dog in Wayne County

TAYLOR, Mich. – A young girl is seriously injured after being mauled by a dog in Taylor Wednesday morning.

UPDATE: 4-year-old girl needs reconstructive surgery after pit bull attack in Taylor

Police responded to the family’s home at around 11:30 a.m. on April 30, 2025, after a neighbor’s dog mauled the child.

The girl was rushed to a local hospital. Police said she is seriously injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
