Michigan road named among 10 most ‘charming main streets’ in country
Grand River Avenue earns national acclaim for its historic charm

Grand River Avenue in Howell came in at No. 4 for USA Today’s ’10 charming main streets across the US that will steal your heart.’
An expert panel nominated what they felt were the best streets and USA Today readers voted.
“These streets are living history, have a vibrant culture, and serve as the hearts of their communities,” USA Today wrote.
Grand River Avenue in Howell has been recognized for its historic buildings, unique shops and restaurants.
The list included streets in California, Oregon, Virginia and others.
Main Street in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania was chosen as the country’s most charming street.
