DETROIT – The first retail tenant at Hudson’s Detroit office building has been announced.
Alo, a retail store that primarily sells athletic clothing for women and men, is expected to open at Hudson’s Detroit on Woodward Avenue. This marked the first in a series of retail announcements for the revitalized building.

“Detroit is brimming with purpose and Alo’s dedication to wellness and community complements the city’s vibrancy and growth,” said Bedrock’s Senior Vice President of Leasing Naumann Idrees. “As the inaugural retail tenant at Hudson’s Detroit, we welcome Alo and embrace this as a significant moment for the city.”
Alo at Hudson’s Detroit is expected to open in late summer 2025.
According to Bedrock, the 1.5-million-square-foot development features a 56,000-square-foot event venue that recently opened for gatherings, meetings and special occasions. Hudson’s will soon offer office space, a 5-star hotel, a public plaza, a rooftop lounge and condominiums.
