SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio – A pet raccoon with a meth pipe in Ohio led to the discovery of multiple drugs during a traffic stop.

It happened May 5 in Springfield Township, a suburb of Cincinnati. According to authorities, a traffic stop was initiated on a driver who had an active warrant and a suspended driver’s license. Police said the officer found a raccoon named Chewy sitting in the car with a meth pipe in its mouth, which resulted in a search of the vehicle.

Police said they found a large amount of methamphetamine, crack cocaine and three glass meth pipes.

The driver, 55-year-old Victora Vidal, was charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited for driving with a suspended license. She reportedly had the proper paperwork and documentation to own Chewy, who was unharmed.

Vidal was turned over to another police department on her active warrant. Additional charges are expected.
