DETROIT – Down with Detroit has launched a tribute to the late, great Detroit Tigers center fielder Chet Lemon, which will benefit his youth foundation.

DWD is a Detroit-based brand known for celebrating Motor City sports legends such as Lemon, who helped the Tigers capture the World Series in 1984.

In partnership with the Lemon family, the company will donate $5 from every Chet Lemon product sold throughout the 2025 baseball season to the Chet Lemon Foundation.

This includes the brand’s iconic T-shirt, which first paid homage to Lemon’s remarkable career.

The partnership comes after the release of their first article celebrating Lemon, and now in the wake of his passing on May 8, 2025.

Lemon, known for his exceptional play and community involvement, inspired the original DWD tee when the company first launched.
