ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Felony charges have been filed against a 17-year-old from Roseville who fled from the police after robbing a victim at gunpoint.
The incident occurred on May 7, 2025, in Mount Clemens when the 17-year-old allegedly pulled out a gun resembling a Glock and pointed it towards the victim, who was on a mini-bike.

Police said the teen got the mini-bike, put it into his Chevy Trax, and drove away.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, which is charging the teen as an adult, responded to the victim’s call and was advised about the Chevy Trax.
Officials observed the 17-year-old in the Chevy Trax, and a chase ensued. The chase resulted in a collision between the sheriff’s vehicle and the teen’s Chevy Trax.
The 17-year-old was apprehended and taken into custody, and the victim’s mini-bike was returned.
Police said the alleged Glock used by the teen turned out to be a pneumatic airsoft gun.
After a review of the evidence presented by the Macomb County Sheriff Department, the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office has determined to charge the 17-year-old with the following charges:
Count 1: Robbery - armed, a felony punishable for life or any number of years.
Count 2: Weapons felony firearm - Pneumatic gun, a felony punishable with a two-year mandatory prison sentence served consecutively.
Count 3: Fleeing police officer - Third degree, a felony punishable up to five years.
Count 4: Assault with a dangerous weapon, a felony punishable up to five years.
Count 5: Malicious destruction of fire or police property, a felony punishable up to four years.
Count 6: Operating - No license/multiple licenses, a 93-day misdemeanor.
The teen was arraigned in 41-B Mount Clemens District Court, where a bond of $50,000 cash/surety was set.
The 17-year-old was remanded into custody with the condition that if bond is posted, he must wear a steel-cuff GPS tether, have no contact with the victim, and possess no firearms.
The Probable Cause Conference for the teen is scheduled for May 27, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., with a Preliminary Exam date to follow.
