2 Metro Detroit men arrested in connection with deadly attack on US Capitol
MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Two more Michigan men were charged Thursday after photos and other evidence showed they were at the deadly Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. The FBI said Robert “Bobby” Schornak and Daniel Herendeen -- both from Macomb County -- traveled to Washington in support of President Donald Trump and got inside the U.S. Capitol Building. A Roseville mother had a feeling when the FBI raided a home on Commonwealth Street she knew why. Her gut told her it was to go after someone involved in the deadly siege on the U.S. Capitol Building. They said a friend of Herendeen tipped them off and they found Facebook Messenger plans were made by both men.

Missing puppy found alive in burned Macomb County apartment complex 2 weeks after fire

Mount Clemens man arrested in connection with shooting of 18-year-old relative
Police say the victim was found at a nearby business in the area and taken to the hospital. MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 22-year-old gunman was arrested for shooting his 18-year-old relative in the upper right arm on Sunday around 11 p.m. in the area of North Broadway and Clemens streets, police say. Both the shooter and victim live in Mount Clemens, although not together. The shooter was arrested shortly after the incident in the area once officers were provided with a description of him. Police say the victim was found at a nearby business in the area and taken to the hospital.

Video shows residents being rescued from burning apartment in Mount Clemens
MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Macomb County Sheriff’s Office deputies rushed into the River North Village Apartment in Mount Clemens overnight Sunday to help get people out. As soon as they arrived, people were jumping from windows as fire and heavy smoke covered everything. Eight people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries and dozens of people were displaced by the fire. MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Some tenants at the River North Village Apartments in Mount Clemens jumped from their balconies to escape a massive fire with heavy smoke and flames that crews worked for hours to put out overnight Sunday, a witness told Local 4 News. According to another witness, others jumped from a window to escape the fire at the apartment building on North River Road. Local 4 News reached out to the American Red Cross and Macomb County Sheriff’s Office to check on whether anyone was hurt or displaced.
