Police investigating Port Huron shooting that allegedly stemmed from ongoing dispute

PORT HURON, Mich. – The Port Huron Police Department is investigating after a suspect fired several shots at someone’s vehicle amid an ongoing feud.

The shooting happened at about 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, in the area of Pine Grove Avenue and Prospect Street, near Pine Grove Park.

When officers arrived in the area, they learned that the suspect and victim knew each other and had been involved in an ongoing dispute.

They were allegedly driving different vehicles when the suspect fired shots, striking the victim’s vehicle several times.

The victim left the area and was not injured in the shooting, according to police. The suspect hasn’t been located.

Investigators believe this was an isolated incident and says there is no ongoing threat to the public.
