DETROIT – Reverend Solomon Kinloch Jr. secured a new endorsement from the 13th Congressional Democrats in Detroit’s mayoral race.
The Kinloch for Mayor campaign announced the endorsement on Monday (May 19).

The 13th Congressional District includes neighborhoods in Detroit from 8 Mile Road and Wyoming Avenue to the city’s eastern and southern borders.
The unanimous vote by the Executive Board and membership of the 13th Congressional District marks the second major endorsement in a week for the Kinloch campaign.
The UAW, Michigan’s largest union, with over 350,000 members statewide, endorsed Kinloch last week.
Within Detroit alone, UAW members and their families total more than 120,000 people.
