Rapper Skilla Baby recovering after shooting in Redford Township

REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are looking into the shooting of rapper Skilla Baby in Redford Township.

The Detroit rapper is said to be recovering after being shot Thursday (May 22) on 8 Mile Road near Beech Daly.

When Local 4 arrived, we saw a business with its wall smashed in and caution tape up everywhere.

A police source tells us that Skilla Baby (Whose real name is Trevon Garner) was driving alone, and those close to him believe he may have been targeted.

Skilla Baby is expected to be Okay as he was allegedly shot in the hand and the head.
