CLAWSON, Mich. – Officials in Oakland County have charged three people in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old.
The shooting happened Thursday, May 22, at a home near the intersection of 14 Mile Road and Renshaw Avenue in Clawson.

The next day, police confirmed two suspects were taken into custody, but a third remained at large. The 21-year-old was arrested later that night.
Tylaj Clark-Spencer, a 21-year-old from Howell, was charged with manslaughter, receiving and concealing stolen firearm, and two counts of felony firearms. His bond was set at $1,000,000.
Joshua Peel, a 20-year-old from Royal Oak, and a 17-year-old were both charged as accessories.
Peel’s bond was set at $200,000.
According to authorities, Clark-Spencer, the victim and a third person were in the process of leaving the Clawson apartment when Clark-Spencer checked to see if the gun he had on him was loaded. The gun went off, striking and killing the 18-year-old victim.
The gun was allegedly stolen from a safe belonging to the father of the 17-year-old who was charged. The teen reportedly hid the gun and other evidence hours after the shooting before leaving with Peel.
